After many years of clay work, I have found that raku fired ceramics speaks to me.  The crackle, the spectrum colours of the glazes, contrasting with carbon black, makes a dramatic effect. This technique is most suitable for the ethnic figures that I make.  I enjoy exploring new expressions for each one, making them unique.
