As an artist I am drawn to the tactile and organic qualities of natural fibres, both animal and plant. I am currently experimenting with mixing different fibres together through knitting, felting, crochet and sewing to see how they merge and move together as wearable pieces.

Since moving to country NSW my work has become a celebration of the slow, meditative process of life, and the joy found creating something beautiful from the raw materials of the earth.  I am continually inspired by the colours and tones, that the ever-evolving climate creates around me.

In my art, I seek to capture the essence of the natural world, its rhythms, its textures, its beauty. I hope that my work inspires others to slow down, to appreciate the simple pleasures of life, and to cherish the beauty that surrounds us.
