Brian Purcell is a painter/poet from Bellingen working in landscape and still-life.

He’s had three successful one-person shows, The Day on Fire (2021), Estuary (2023) and Floodlands (2025) at the Shop Gallery, Glebe NSW.

In July 2025 he attended an art residency in Norway awarded by the prestigious Kunstnarhuset Messen.
