Julia May is an artist residing on the mid-north coast of New South Wales. Graduating with a
bachelor of fine arts from The National Art School in 2014, she is currently remerging as an artist.
Julia studied ceramics as her main medium but has currently been focusing on exploring painting
with clay boards.
She loves exploring new places and expressing her surroundings of Australian flora and fauna in
sculptural and painting form. Capturing moments of calm from throughout her life, she wants to
convey a sense of joy and wonder through using vibrant colours and varied textures in her artworks.
