I have been hand building clay sculptures for more than 30 years. My work is designed to be tactile and therefore usually left unglazed. Leaving the clay in its pure state creates a soft hand feel and allows the piece to absorb light and form subtle shadows.

My subject matter is eclectic with a preference for figurative work but whatever I make the process is always grounded in pleasure and aesthetics.
